Four Leaf Brewing rolls out the ‘Full Barrel’ – The Morning Sun

After a brief downpour Thursday afternoon, the skies cleared and Amy Shindorf’s new “tap trailer” was ready for its debut.

Outside Shindorf’s business, Four Leaf Brewing on McEwan Street in Clare, the custom designed trailer that looks like a huge beer barrel was attracting attention from craft beer aficionados who now don’t have to travel across Michigan to get the state’s best brews.

Shindorf tapped Amara Sauna Co. in Alma to create the barrel-shaped trailer, lucking out that the only company building them in the state’s Lower Peninsula was just a few counties away.

Audi Adle of Amara said working with Shindorf gave the two businesses a chance to join forces to “celebrate the essence of craftsmanship together.”

“This collaboration exemplifies the spirit of unity within our community, fostering a stronger bond among local entrepreneurs and redefining the art of craft brewing,” Adle said.

After the barrel was built, Four Leaf workers acted quickly to install the draft system to allow for the christening of the trailer along with samples of the newly-tapped “Bloody Pumpkin” craft beer that was a collaboration between Four Leaf and Twin Eagle Brewery, an up-and-coming beermaker in Ann Arbor.

Now that the barrel trailer is officially in use, it was taken to a beer show in Ypsilanti Friday, where it will be featured with other craft brewer’s beers for the weekend.

She has plans to take the trailer to beer shows across the state as well.
